On Thursday the 24th of July 2025, Bridgie passed away very peacefully at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved daughter of the late Annie (née King) and Paddy Kerrigan. Bridgie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her devoted husband Martin, her loving children David, Martin, Claire and Sharon, her doting grandchildren Stephen, Laura, Sarah, Katie, Keelin, Annie, Ben and Dara, daughters in-law Orla and Lorraine, sons in-law Kevin and Martin, brothers Philip, John, Michael, Patrick and Seamus, sisters Mary, Ann and Rita, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at 'Sioraíocht', within the grounds of The Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway (H91 XH02) on Sunday the 27th of July from 5.30pm to 7pm, followed by private removal to her residence. Remains will arrive to The Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway (H91 YH05) on Monday the 28th of July, for Mass of the Resurrection at 10am. The funeral will proceed thereafter to Tooreena Cemetery, Renvyle, Connemara (H91 C8DE), arriving at approximately 1.15pm, where Bridgie will be laid to rest.
