Shligigh ó dhúchas, a d’eag go síochánta 18ú Samhain, 2025, in Ospidéal na Gaillimhe tar éis tinneas a throid le crógacht agus dóchas. Imithe roimpi a tuismitheoirí Terence agus Winifred, a h-iníon Anne-Marie, a deartháireacha Pádraig agus Peadar agus a deirfiúracha Áine agus Breege. Méala mór a bás dá féar céile dhílis Brendan, dá clann Sonia, John (Seán) agus Ciarán agus a cliamhaineacha Jim agus Sarah agus dá garchlann Róisín, Sadhbh, Laoise, Meadhbh, Páraic, Feidhlim, Donncha agus Saoirse, a deartháireacha Turlough, Eamonn, Neil agus Séamus agus a deirfiúr Úna. Cailliúint mhór a bás freisin dá gaolta, dá cairde, agus dá comharsana. Beidh sí a tórramh sa gCillín, Bhearna (H91 A2T7) dé hAoine 21ú Mí na Samhna ó 5i.n. agus ansin aistriú príobháideach chuig a teach cónaithe ag 6.30i.n. Léifear Aifreann na Sochraide in Eaglais Mhuire na Banríona Gan Smál, Bhearna (H91 A2T7) dé Satharn 22u Mí na Samhna ag 12 mean lae. James, (née McGowan) Mary (Moya), Furbo, Co. Galway and formerly of Calry, Co. Sligo who died peacefully on the 18th of November 2025 in University Hospital, Galway, after an illness bravely born. Predeceased by her father Terence (McGowan) and Winifred, her daughter Anne-Marie, her brothers Padhraig and Peadar and her sisters Áine and Breege. Mourned by her husband Brendan, her children Sonia, John (Seán) and Ciarán, her son-in-law Jim and daughter-in-law Sarah, her grandchildren Róisín, Sadhbh, Laoise, Meadhbh, Paraic, Feidhlim, Donncha and Saoirse, her brothers Turlough, Neil, Eamonn and Séamus and her sister Úna. She will be missed also by her many other relations, friends and neighbours. Reposing at the ‘Cillin’, Barna (H91 A2T7), on Friday 21st November, from 5pm, followed by private removal to her residence at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday 22nd November in The Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna (H91 A2T7), at 12 noon. Cremation service to follow in Shannon Crematorium (V14 PV30), at 4pm.
