Maura passed away peacefully on Sunday the 20th July 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Padraic, parents Peaitín and Mary, sisters Anna, Noreen, Máiread, Maria and Deirdre, brothers Darach, Antoine and Pádraig. Much loved mother of Ciarán, John, Máire, Eda and Siobhán and grandmother to Cian, Fionn, Alannah, Sean, Conor, Cillian, Padraic, Christina, Olivia and Harry. She will be greatly missed by her family, her sisters Sarah, Bríd and Bernie, brother Micheál, daughters in-law Geraldine and Cora, sons in-law Norman and Iain, brother-in-law Sean, sister-in-law Lynn, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Irwins Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin, Galway (H91 CK84) on Monday the 21st of July from 6pm to 7.30pm. Requiem Mass for Maura will take place on Tuesday the 22nd July at 11:00 am in St. Ignatius Church, Sea Road, Galway (H91 Y544). Private Cremation to follow at Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Croí.
