On the 4th of March 2025, Paddy passed away peacefully in University Hospital Galway, with his loving son and daughter by his side. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Marian, brothers John and Michael and sister Anne. Will be sadly missed by his daughters Áine and Sophie, son Ian, Áine’s mother Jackie, Sophie and Ian’s mother Pauline, sons-in-law Sean and Todd, daughter-in-law Taylor, grandchildren Levi, Conán, Tadgh, Finn and Blake, his devoted sisters Mary, Kathleen, Theresa and Patricia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a fellowship of friends.

Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Friday the 7th of March from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Forster Street. Paddy’s Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday the 8th of March at 10:30am. Cremation service to follow at 1pm, in Shannon Crematorium, County Clare.
