On the 24th of July 2024, Tom passed away peacefully in the loving and gentle care of the Mystical Rose Nursing Home, Claregalway after an illness bravely fought with great courage and dignity. Beloved husband of the late Peig. Sadly missed by his loving family; his children, Seán of Special Needs, Bishop Fintan and Caitriona, son-in-law Dom Coll, neighbours and many relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. Reposing in Áras Naofa in the grounds of St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore (H91 YV52) on Thursday the 25th of July from 5.00pm. Removal at 7.00pm to his daughter’s residence in Parkmore (H91 X28C). Arriving at the Church for Funeral Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Castlegar (H91 E4C9) at 12.00 noon on Friday the 26th of July, followed by burial afterwards in Castlegar Cemetery.

Beidh sé á thorraimh i dteach Tóraimh Séipéal Rinn Mhór, Árus Naofa, H91 YV52 óna 5.00 i.n. – 7.00 i.n. ar an Deardaoin agus i dteach a hIníne ina dhiaidh sin H91 X28C. Cuirfear é i Reilig an Chaisleáin Ghearr tar éis Aifrinn 12 Meán Lae í Seipeal Naomh Cholumba, Dé hAoine 26ú Iúil. *** May Tom Rest in Peace *** O Lord, support us all the day long until the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done.
