Peacefully at University Hospital, Galway, with his loving family by his side. Will be sadly missed by his sisters Vera (USA), Ita (USA), Marion (USA), Bernadette (USA), Betty (Galway), Carmel (Galway), brothers Michael (Athlone), Frank (Galway), nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Thursday the 21st September from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm to the Abbey Church, St. Francis Street. Gerry’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 22nd of September at 10:30am. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery Bohermore.
