Formerly of Dublin. Grandson of Peadar Kearney, author of Amhrán na bhFiann. Peacefully, at University Hospital Galway, with his loving family by his side, after a bravely fought battle. Will be sadly missed by his sisters Eva and Bríd, brothers Pearse and Peadar, sisters-in-law Eileen and Jean, brother-in-law Martin, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his circle of special friends.

Reposing at his residence in Curragreen, Galway, on Wednesday, the 10th of January, from 4pm until 7pm. A humanistic ceremony will take place in Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91CK84) on Thursday, the 11th of January, at 11am. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery, Bohermore.
