On the 19th of December 2025, Sharon passed away suddenly but peacefully at her residence. Beloved daughter of Pat and Brigid and cherished sister of Martina and the Late Richard. Will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Aidan, sister-in-law Sineád, nieces Roanna and Aoibhín, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, her many friends and her work colleagues in Galway County Council and Galway City Council.
May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Monday the 22nd of December from 6pm until 7:30pm. Sharon’s Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday the 23rd of December at 11am in St. Columba’s Church Castlegar (H91 E4C9). Sharon will then be laid to rest in Menlo Cemetery with her brother Richard.
