Formerly of Fr. Griffin Road, The Claddagh. Peacefully at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Margaret. Will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters Sarah, Caroline and June, sons Larry and Derek, grandchildren Lauren, Jessica, Anthony, Tyrese, Qudus, Azeem, Abigail, John, Naomi, Keelan, Olwyn and Aaron, sisters Cepta, Jackie and Patti, sons-in-law Anthony and Abby, daughters-in-law Bethan, Laura and Olivia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Thursday the 27th July from 5pm. Removal at 7pm to St. Mary's Church, The Claddagh. Derek's Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 28th of July at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Rahoon Cemetery.
