Predeceased by his parents Jimmy Snr., and Teresa, his brothers Liam and Jimmy. Formerly of Bohermore and The Claddagh. Gerry passed away in The Galway Hospice following an illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Barbara. Will be sadly missed by his wife, son Ruairí, daughter Gráinne, grandsons Luke and Radha, granddaughter Éireann, brothers Owen, Kenneth and Trevor, son-in-law Richard, daughter-in-law Marina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many, many friends

Reposing in Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84) on Tuesday the 21st of January from 5:00pm. Removal at 7:00pm to St. Mary's Church, The Claddagh. Gerry's Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday the 22nd of January at 11:00am, Private cremation service to follow.
