It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Mike, who passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Jack and Maura Joyce and his brother-in-law John Ward. Deeply mourned and forever loved by his dear wife and best friend Joan. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Kathy Ward (Walkinstown) and Maureen Giblin (Claregalway), nieces and nephews Ross, Kathy, Maureen, Susan and Johnny, grandniece Susie and grandnephew Matthew, brothers in law and sisters in law, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at Sioraoíocht, in the grounds of The Assumption and St. James' Church, Claregalway, on Thursday the 27th April from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm to the adjacent church. Mike's Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 28th of April at 11am. Cremation service to follow on Saturday the 29th of April, at 1pm, in Shannon Crematorium, County Clare (details for livestreaming of service in Shannon will be put up at a later date).
