On the 10th of February 2025, Tom Joe passed away peacefully at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Gretta Furey, son Peter, stepmother Bridie and sister Sally. Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by his wife Maureen, sons James, Brendan and Declan, daughters Sally, Maria and Áine, daughters-in-law Ann Maria and Melody Rose, son-in-law John, grandchildren Nicole, Danielle, Chloe, Hope, Sean Óg and Ruairí, brother Sean, sister Ann, sister-in-law Ann, brother-in-law Michael, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing in The Holy Family Funeral Home Mervue (H91 FH52), on Thursday the 13th of February from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm to his home. Tom Joe's Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 14th of February in The Church of the Holy Family Mervue, at 11am. Funeral afterwards to The Lisheen Cemetery, Ballybrit. Please note, The Funeral Parlour Entrance is through the Church and the Wheelchair entrance/exit to/from the Funeral Parlour is at ground level in the car park.
